How do you operate?

UKCPS Ltd totally manage the parking solution for you business. We take on the responsibility of erecting warning signs and agreeing a parking charge with you. We then patrol the car parking area, fix parking charge notices to contravening vehicles and collect payments.

You do not have to do anything. Your time is freed up to run your business and your car parking spaces are freed up for your genuine customers and employees.

What industry standards do you follow?

UKCPS Ltd are Independent parking Committee 'Approved Operators'. As such we undergo a rigorous yearly audit by external assessors. We are Information Commission Office registered (ICO - Data Protection Act) and qualify for an electronic link to access Owner/ Registered Keeper details from the DVLA.

What are the charges to motorists?

Our standard charge is £100 (reduced to £60 for early settlement) but this can be varied to suit the needs of each client. extra charges are added should we need to aply to the County Court for recovery of the debt.

I only have a small site can you still help me?

We operate with sites as small as 1 parking space. Our flexible systems and wide coverage means we can patrol parking areas from the smallest to largest.

What methods do you use to collect the parking charges?

We accept payment by:- phone, our secure online payment system, cheque or postal order. Our patrol wardens are not authorised to accept payment.

Will my details ever be disclosed to the motorist?

No. Nor will motorists details be revealed to clients. We operate within the strict guidelines of the Data Protection Act. Under no circumstances will our data be sold or passed to third parties.

Are 'Parking Charges' legal?

Yes. Once our contractual warning signs are erected and an authority agreement signed with the landowner or their agent we can legally issue invoices (parking charge notices). It is legal to levy a parking charge which has been notified (by our signs) to motorists. By parking on land, we patrol, drivers enter into a contract as indicated on our signs. We will pursue the driver and in certain circumstances ( under the new Protection of Freedoms Act, the Registered Keeper) Motorists do have a legal right of appeal and the parking charge notice gives full details of this.
