How do you operate?
UKCPS Ltd totally manage the parking solution for you business. We take on the responsibility of erecting enforcement notices, agreeing a parking charge with you. We then patrol the car parking area, fix parking charge notices to contravening vehicles and collect payments.
You do not have to do anything. Your time is freed up to run your business and your car parking spaces are freed up for your genuine customers and employees.
What industry standards do you follow?
UKCPS Ltd are an ethical company and are keen to follow and better all the current industry regualtions and reccommendations. The DVLA guidelines are strictly followed and we are Data Protection Act registered.
What are the charges to motorists?
Our standard charge is £75 per day but this can be varied to suit the needs of each client. Parking Charges unpaid after a period of 10 days from issue attract a further £3 per day charge. Again this can be varied in agreement with you.
I only have a small site can you still help me?
We operate with sites as small as 1 parking space. Our flexible systems and wide coverage means we can patrol parking areas from the smallest to largest.
What methods do you use to collect the parking charges?
Currently payment is by our secure online payment system, cheque or postal order. Our patrol wardens are not authorised to accept payment.
Will my details ever be disclosed to the motorist?
No. Nor will motorists details be revealed to clients. We operate within the strict gudelines of the Data Protection Act.
Are 'Parking Charges' legal?
Yes. Parking on private land without permission is tresspass, a Civil offence. It is legal to levy a parking charge which has been notified (by our signs) to motorists. By parking on land we patrol you enter into a contract as indicated by our signage. Motorists do have a legal right of appeal and the parking charge notice gives full details of this.
